Attorney Profile | Justin T. Reid
Justin was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. During high school, he took classes at a local college and earned a diploma in welding. While still in high school, he started a small welding business and planned to focus on growing it full-time after graduating. After high school graduation, Justin attended Bob Jones University pursuing an associates in business. During his second semester of undergraduate school, Justin took a Human Resources class in which he was required to take a job aptitude test. The administrator of the test asked Justin if he had ever considered becoming an attorney as that was his highest job aptitude. Despite Justin’s father being an attorney (Timm Reid), he had never given much thought to pursuing a career in law and it was at that time he finally opened his mind to the idea of being a lawyer. Shortly thereafter, he changed his major to a bachelors in business administration with the goal of entering the legal profession. In 2020, Justin graduated from Bob Jones University magna cum laude and was given the top business student award. Justin attended law school at Drake University and graduated with high honors.
Justin married his high school sweetheart in 2020. In their free time, they can be found spending time outdoors, traveling with friends and family, or working on a DIY project.
